Another note. This anime spoils quite a lot in its openings, showing characters like milim in the first opening when she doesnt appear till the 2nd half of 2 and with this opening showing rimuru's demon drip when 'that' doesnt happen till part 2

Same I skip Intros to evade spoilers, at least the first 5-6 Episodes.

When the opening turns out to rather suck I'm skipping it always.
However, some intros/outros were so awesome that I always watched them.

Anyone else notice that when rimuru was forced to name his town, shion decided the name would be rimuru but for the entire rest of the anime its named tempest? i got really confused when it was named rimuru on my 2nd watching cos i knew it as tempest

No the actual place is named tempest
The capital is named rimuru

The city is rimuru the surrounding land is tempest and the alliance is the jurotempest federation as temoest controls 30% of the land

Wait a minute... why did they backtrack from the ending of season 1?! S1 ended with him saying goodbye to the students. Now it looks like they have slotted the start of this season in between the last few days or weeks prior to that. Which doesn't make much sense because if he is still going to say goodbye in that manner he wouldn't need to due to now having the ability to teleport. Is this the writer just trying to keep the kids around longer in the main storyline?

Another thing that sucks is the misuse of the female goblins. I was certain at least one of the goblin girls would be Rimuru's assistant or love interest or just a common figure in his circle. But instead so far it has been mainly the ogres. Almost like the writers changed their mind because right after he named them, there was an actual hot goblina he noticed and then we basically don't see her again.

One thing that has been bugging me since season 1. Some of Rimuru's sayings like "brah" or "my dude" or "swole." None of those seem to fit his character at all and almost always make me cringe hearing them. Now maybe we simply don't know enough of who he was in his past life. But he was from Japan and was in his late 30s. Why the heck is he talking like an American teenager? Kinda makes no sense. I wonder if it is the dub VAs trying to add their own style. Gonna check out the subs to see if it is the same.

I just love chloe and want to have a girl like her.. Like love the personality and nature only.
